Abstract:MALAT1, a kind of long noncoding RNA, involved in the occurrence and development ofosteosarcoma, its mechanism is very complex. MALAT1 can promote proliferation of osteosarcoma cells by interaction with miRNA and other means, it can also exert impact on upregulation of the level of CDK9 or other ways to inhibit the apoptosis of osteosarcoma cells. Moreover, MALAT1 can mainly increase the expression of TGFA to mediate the invasion and metastasis of osteosarcoma cells. In conclusion, MALAT1 can participate in the progression of osteosarcoma cells through a variety of mechanisms. This paper aims to review the molecular mechanism of MALAT1 in the proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and metastasis of osteosarcoma cells.
