Abstract:Abstract: [Objective] To compare the clinical efficacy of modified endobutton plate Nice knot and hook plate in fixation of acromioclavicular dislocation. [Methods] A retrospective analysis was performed on 34 patients with Rockwood III or V-type acromioclavicular joint dislocation from January 2017 to January 2020. According to the results of preoperative doctor-patient communication, 18 patients underwent modified endobutton plate Nice knot fixation (endobutton plate group) and 16 patients underwent clavicular hook plate fixation (hook plate group). The demographic characteristics, follow-up and imaging data of the two groups were compared. [Results] Both groups of patients successfully completed the operation, none got nerve、vascular injury and other complications. There were no significant differences in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay and incision length and healing grade between the two groups (P>0.05). All patients were followed up for an average of 16.37±3.56 months. At 3 months, 9 months and the last follow-up, VAS score, Constant score and ASES score of endobutton plate group were significantly better than those of hook plate group (P<0.05). At corresponding time, there were no significant differences in acromioclavicular distance (ACD) and coracoclavicular distance (CCD) between the two groups (P>0.05). [Conclusion] The clinical effect of modified endobutton plate Nice knot fixation of acromioclavicular dislocation is better than that of hook plate fixation.
