Abstract:Perioperative ischemic stroke is one of the serious complications in surgical patients. It has a high disability and mortality rate, which brings a heavy economic burden to the families. With the development of population aging in China, fractures in elderly patients are increasing, frequently accompanied by increasing in perioperative ischemic stroke, which should be of great concern. There have been many studies on this subject. This review focus on the risk and intervention of perioperative acute ischemic stroke in elderly fracture patients, in order to provide references for clinical practices.
