[Objective] To summarize the type and the incidence of complications of SuperPath approach for total hip arthroplasty (THA) using the method of meta-analysis for a single rate. [Methods] The databases, such as CNKI, Wanfang Database and PubMed, were searched for papers on SuperPath approach for THA published at home and abroad from January 2016 to January 2021. After strictly evalu- ating the quality of the included studies, and extracting data, a meta-analysis was conducted by using the Meta package of R software. [Results] A total of 12 articles were included，involving a total of 967 patients. The main complications of SuperPath approach for THA proved the hip dislocation (0.99%, 95%CI: 0.00~0.02) , deep vein thrombosis (1.06%, 95%CI: 0.01~0.06) , infection (2.31%, 95% CI: 0.01~0.05)，periprosthetic fracture (1.13%, 95%CI: 0.00~0.02) . [Conclusion] SuperPath approach for total hip arthroplasty has relatively less complications，including hip dislocation, deep vein thrombosis and infection, which should be paid attention to prevent.
