Abstract:65 year old male patient with brucellosis of shoulder joint and rotator cuff injury was reported. The patient's shoulder joint was painful, swollen, and limited in movement. MRI showed a large amount of fluid accumulation. Second generation sequencing and culture showed brucella infection. The treatment was divided into two stages of surgery. One stage of arthroscopic exploration and cleaning was performed. During the operation, pyogenic arthritis with rotator cuff injury was diagnosed. Antibiotic treatment was given for 6 weeks. The second stage of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair was performed 6 months later. The infection did not recur after 1 year of follow-up, and the function improved.
