Abstract:260/5000 percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) is considered to be the most successful, safe and effective minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures , but it still has complications that cannot be ignored. Common ones include bone cement leakage, pulmonary embolism, infection, spinal cord injury, etc. Epidural hematoma after PVP is rare, which is manifested as neurological impairment after surgery. Magnetic resonance imaging examination shows that the spinal canal has long irregular mass changes, uneven signals, and the transverse section is half-moon shaped, causing dural compression, which can involve multiple segments. At present, there are few domestic and foreign literature reports, most of the onset of acute, subacute, can lead to paralysis and other serious consequences, so it is very important to clarify the cause of its occurrence, early diagnosis and treatment.
