Abstract:Adolescent lumbar disc herniation (ALDH) is now a growing concern, more and more attention has been paid to the Adolescent lumbar disc herniation research on the risk factors of ALDH. Scholars found that the main risk factors for ALDH were exercise and trauma, lumbosacral transition vertebra, the length of the connection between the iliac crests and the length of the L5 transverse process, facet joint stability, lumbosacral angle parameters, BMI and waist-to-hip ratio, smoking, gender and occupation, etc. How to use these risk factors to predict the probability of individual occurrence of ALDH, and whether the risk factor scale can be used to predict the selection of special occupations, there is not much work in this area. This article mainly reviews the research status of the main risk factors of ALDH and their evaluation.
