[Objective] To investigate the common complications of hip arthroscopy and its prevention and treatment. [Methods] From January 2017 to January 2020, a total of 365 patients underwent hip arthroscopy in our hospital, and their complications were analyzed. [Results] No major complications occurred in the 365 patients who underwent primary hip arthroscopy. The incidence of secondary complica- tions was 19.18%, involving numbness of perineal area and lower limb (5.75%) , cartilage injury (4.93%) , penetrating the labrum (2.19%) and foreign loose body (2.74%) . In addition, other rare complications include perfusion into the peritoneal septum and radiofrequency skin burns. [Conclusion] Most of the complications of hip joint were not serious, the number of cases gradually decreased with experience accu- mulation, whereas which still should be paid attention to.
