Abstract:Abstract: [Objective] To investigate the clinical effect of retrograde intramedullary nails and hollow nails on femoral shaft fracture with femoral neck fracture. [Methods] 22 patients with femoral shaft fracture and ipsilateral femoral neck fracture admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. They were fixed by retrograde intramedullary nail and hollow nail. [Results] The patients were followed up for 1~ 3 years, only 1 (4.55%) of the femoral neck Garden Ⅲ fracture was not healed, and 2 (9.1%) of the patients had early mild knee pain. The rate of excellent and good hip Harris score at the last follow-up was 72.73% (16/22), which was higher than 40.91% (9/22) at 3 months after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). With the extension of postoperative time, the degree of hip flexion was significantly increased (P<0.05). The comparison of femoral head necrosis and joint degeneration in 22 patients at different time points after surgery showed no statistical significance (P>0.05). [Conclusion] Retrograde intramedullary nail and hollow nail fixation of femoral shaft fracture with femoral neck fracture is less traumatic and the quality of fracture healing and prognosis is higher.
