Abstract:Abstract: [Purpose]To introduce the surgical technique and preliminary clinical results of open reduction and internal fixation(ORIF) OF Sanders type II and III calcaneal fractures under arthroscopy.[Methods] 28 patients of Sanders II~III calcaneal fractures were treated by ORIF through this method from February 2019 to January 2021. A traction needle was implanted at the calcaneus nodule and the talus neck, and pulled back with the retractor to restore the length of the calcaneus, without internal and external turning. The arthroscopic approach is the posterior and lateral approach, directly remove the bone mass and hematoma, close reduction the posterior articular surface of the calcaneus, restore the Bohler Angle, Gissane Angle, and temporarily fix the steel plate on the inside and outside of the foot, continuously pressure to the middle, and gradually restore the width. The internal fixator was implanted after reduction. Applied American Association of Foot and Ankle Surgery (AOFAS)
