Abstract:Chondrosarcoma is a common bone malignant tumor originating from chondrocytes. It is characterized by the presence of endogenic cartilage ossein but no true tumor bone. Chondrosarcoma usually occurs in long tubular bones such as femur and tibia, iliac bone and ribs, while chondrosarcoma occurs in cranial clavicle, scapula, patella and small bones of hand and foot is relatively rare.The incidence of this disease is second only to osteosarcoma, accounting for about 20% of malignant bone tumors. A case of chondrosarcoma of the first metatarsophalangeal joint of the foot was recently admitted to our hospital and received surgical treatment. The report is as follows
