Abstract:Patella is the largest sesamoid bone in human body,patella tumors are relatively rare,most of the primary patella tumors are benign,of which giant cell tumor is the most common.Due to the atypical clinical symptoms of giant cell tumor patella,manifested as pain and tendemess around the joint and affected joint activity,it was misdiagnosed as knee joint disease.At present,the treatment of giant cell tumor patella is mainly surgical.The author reviewed a case of giant cell tumor of patella admitted in our hospital and reviewed relevant literatures at home and abroad.
