Abstract:Bone cavernous hemangioma is a common clinical benign bone tumor, usually occurs in vertebrae, skull, scapula, ribs, clavicle and pelvis, and the incidence of long bones of limbs is less. Bone cavernous hemangioma of the calcaneus is even rarer. The etiology of the disease is not clear, the onset can occur in all ages, and there is no significant correlation with gender. Occult onset, variable and non-specific clinical and imaging manifestations, easily misdiagnosed as bone cyst, aneurysmal bone cyst, osteosarcoma, giant cell tumor of bone and other diseases. The patient was misdiagnosed as a bone cyst and aneurysmal bone cyst, which was confirmed by pathologic examination and treated surgically. This case of calcaneal cavernous angioma is reported as follows.
