Abstract:[ objective ] The purpose of this study was to investigate the treatment of a special type of longitudinal epiphyseal bracket. [ methods ] A rare case of syndactyly comorbid with longitudinal epiphyseal bracket deformity was summarized. The treatment included finger division, abnormal epiphyseal resection and wedge osteotomy. [ results ] One month after the operation, the incision of both hands healed well, the bone of left hand osteotomy healed well, the kirschner wire was removed, and the patient was instructed to use both hands normally. [ conclusion ] For this special type of longitudinal epiphyseal bracket, individualized treatment should be designed according to the specific conditions of the patient. Soft tissue and bone problems should be considered simultaneously, the natural history of the disease should also be considered, and try to prevent recurrence.
