Abstract:Objective To investigate the early curative efficacy of“Chinese knot”suture technique for treatment of Rotator cuff injury near the tendon-abdominal junction under shoulder arthroscopy. Methods fourteen cases of rotator cuff injury near the tendon-abdominal junction were treated with “Chinese knot”suture technique from February 2020 to January 2021. With the ETHIBOND suture stitches on the rotator cuff tissue is an inverted triangular distribution of the woven "Chinese knot" appearance, appropriate tension under the anchor fixing, depending on the situation combined with "side stitching" to enhance the repair of rotator cuff. Results The follow-up time was 6 to 9 months with an average time of 7.22±1.85months. The Average operation time was92±15min. Before the operation and 9 months after operation, The differences of the all indexes before and after operation were statistically significant (P < 0. 05). All 14 patients had continuous MRI images of rotator cuff in the follow up. Conclusion The“Chinese knot”suture technique is simple and convenient for repairing the Rotator cuff injury near the tendon-abdominal junction, and its clinical effect is reliable.
