Incision complications after calcaneal fracture surgery have been a hot research topic in the field of trauma orthopedics and ankle. The complications mainly include incision skin necrosis, infection, dehiscence, hematoma formation, plate exposure and so on. These complications pose a great threat to the postoperative rehabilitation of patients. This article reviews the risk factors and prevention strategies of incision complications after calcaneal fracture surgery.
