Spinal epidural lipo-matosis, SEL is a prepopulous lesions of intravertebral epidural lipo matosis, caused by excessive accumulation of extra-epidural fat in the vertebral tube, which mainly affects the thoracic lumbar vertebral tube and is clinically rare. Clinically there are no obvious symptoms or neuropressive symptoms such as back pain, numbness, weakness of the lower extremities or abnormal reflexes. We have admitted 1 SEL patient recently, now we report it and review the relevant literatures to introduce the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of SEL.
