Abstract:Objective:To evaluate short-term outcomes of mixed phase 3 Oxford unicompartmental knee arthroplasty for medial unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis. Methods:Between May 2017 and May 2020,158 knees underwent UKR with mixed phase 3 Oxford, and the clinical outcomes and radiographs were assessed. Results:Operation time was (42.42±6.26)minutes,bleeding volume was (33.40±9.67) mL,hospital stay was (5.34±1.26) days. There were no complications such as poor wound healing, infection, deep venous thrombosis. All patients were followed up for 18 to 42 months All patients were followed up for 12 to 48 months.AKSS functional,AKSS objectiveat,OKS,HKA,TCVA significantly improved at the latest follow-up compared with those before operation, while TCPSA did not.FCVA was (3.04±1.86)°,FCPSA was (5.11±2.29)°,and no signs of bearing dislocation, progression of OA to the lateral compartment were observed at the latest follow-up.Conclusion:Mixed phase 3 Oxford UKA in medial unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis provided satisfactory short-term clinical outcome, having short operation time, little blood loss, short hospital stay, rapid postoperative recovery, helping achieve satisfactory function.
