Abstract:Abstract: [Objective] to investigate the application advantage and clinical effect of cortical bone trajectory (CBT) pedicle screw in revision of Ao spine C fracture of lumbar spine[ Methods] the clinical data of 23 patients who underwent revision lumbar fracture treatment with cortical bone trajectory (CBT) pedicle screw were analyzed retrospectively. The time of secondary operation, intraoperative bleeding and surgical complications were recorded. Visual analogue scale (VAS), Oswestry dysfunction index (ODI) questionnaire and Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) lumbar function score were used to evaluate the functional improvement and clinical efficacy after revision surgery[ Results] the average operation time of 23 patients was (158.55 ± 36.71) min; The average amount of intraoperative bleeding was (222.71 ± 51.34) ml. Cerebrospinal fluid leakage occurred in 1 case. All patients were followed up for an average of (17.86 ± 4.63) months. There were significant differences in VAS score, ODI score and JOA score of low back pain and leg pain before operation compared with their respective scores in the last follow-up. The symptoms of low back and leg pain were relieved and the physical function was improved satisfactorily[ Conclusion] the application of cortical bone trajectory (CBT) pedicle screw in the revision of lumbar Ao spine type C fracture has its unique technical advantages and achieved good postoperative results.
