Abstract:[Objective] To explore the application value of 3D printing guide plate assisted percutaneous fixation of acute scaphoid fracture.[Methods] 60 patients with scaphoid fracture treated in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects. According to the randomized control method, they were divided into guide plate group and free hand group. The free hand group was fixed with intraoperative fluoroscopy volar percutaneous screw. The guide plate group made a 1:1 scale solid fracture model and percutaneous guide plate by using Mimics software and 3D printer before operation, Volar percutaneous screw fixation. The operation time, C-arm fluoroscopy times during operation, postoperative pain score and Gartland werley wrist function score in the last follow-up were observed and compared between the two groups.[Results] All patients were followed up for an average of (10.14±2.35) months. The operation time, fluoroscopy times and postoperative pain score in the guide group were better than those in the unarmed group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in wrist function score between the two groups (P >0.05).[Conclusion]3D printing guide plate assisted volar percutaneous screw internal fixation in the treatment of acute carpal scaphoid fracture can shorten the operation time, reduce the number of intraoperative fluoroscopy, and the operation is simple. It is worthy of popularization and application by young doctors.
