Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectiveness of symptomatic os subfifibulare with gouty ankle arthritis in the teenagers. Methods 15 teenaged patients with symptomatic os subfifibulare conbined with gouty ankle arthritis who arthroscopic debridement,os subfifibulare resection, Brostr?m-Gould combined with Internal Brace artificial ligament to strengthen the repair of anterior talofibular ligament were reviewed during February 2018 to August 2019.There were 10 males and 5 females ,,with an age of 14-18 years (mean, 15.73±1.03 years). The VAS score and AOFAS score were adopted to evaluate the postoperative functions of the ankle . Results All?incisions?healed?naturally. 15 patients were followed up for 12~18months,(mean,15.25±6.20) months. Compared with preoperative, all scores were significantly improved.Conclusion For symptomatic os subfifibulare with gouty ankle arthritis in the teenagers, ankle arthroscopic debridement, os subfifibulare resection, Brostr?m-Gould combined with Internal Brace artificial ligament to strengthen the repair of anterior talofibular ligament could effectively reduce the symptoms, early rehabilitation.
