Abstract:Abstract [Objective] Introduce the surgical technique and preliminary clinical results of suture fixation of lower patella fractures with threaded anchors.[Methods] Select 38 patients with lower patella fractures admitted to our hospital from June 2017 to December 2019. All patients were fixed at the proximal end of the patella with a simple threaded anchor, and the soft tissue around the patella such as the patellar ligament was sutured with the anchor suture. All patients were reexamined in outpatient clinics at 1, 2, 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery. Observe fracture healing and internal fixation loosening, record the knee joint motion of the patient, and evaluate the function of the affected limb according to the Bostman patella fracture function score standard.[Results] 38 patients all completed the operation successfully, 37 of them were followed up completely, the follow-up time was 12-18 months, the fracture healing time was 14-16 weeks, there were no cases of failure of internal fixation, 30 cases were excellent in Bostman patella fracture function score, 7 cases were good , The excellent and good rate is 100%, and the knee joint is stable.[Conclusion] The threaded anchor fixes the fracture of the lower pole of the patella and repairs the stable knee extension device. The operation is simple and safe. The knee joint function recovers well after the operation, and there is no need for a second operation to remove it. The effect is satisfactory. It provides a reliable method for the treatment of this type of fracture.
