Abstract:[Objective] To investigate and prepare novel dressing with multifunction including hemostasis, analgesia and antibacterium applying to open war injury and to evaluate the effects. [Method] put chitosan, ethylic acid, PVA, distilled water, ropivacaine and nano-silver together according to certain ratio and concentration and electrospun the solution into fibrous membrane. Measure the accumulative releasing rate in vitro by spectrophotometer. Establish rabbit model of open war injury. 16 rabbits were randomly divided into novel dressing group and traditional dressing group. Blood loss, pain score, CRP, average amount of PMN from five high power field (HPF) with the highest amount of PMN in the histopathological section of wound and duration of complete healing of wound.[Result] It cost about 10 to 15 hours for the accumulative releasing rate of the three medicine to reach 50% and cost about 20 hours to get releasing balance. The dressing can continuously release medicine for 50 hours. The blood loss, pain score of postoperative 1 day, CRP, average of PMN and duration of wound healing of postoperative 3 days of experimental group are significantly lower than those of control group. Pain score of postoperative 7 days, CRP, average of PMN of postoperative 1 day had no significant difference between the two groups. [Conclusion] nanofibers as novel wound releasing dressing electrospun with chitosan/PVA containing tranexamic, ropivacaine and nano-silver can continuously release medicine for 2 days and has hemostasis, analgesia, antibacterium and promoting wound healing effects on the wound of open war injury of rabbit model.
