Abstract:Periprosthetic avulsion fractures of the tibial tubercle are rare. A case of periprosthetic fracture of the left tibia (Felix Iva type) was diagnosed and treated in Dafang County People''s Hospital affiliated to Zunyi Medical University. The patient underwent open reduction of avulsed fracture of the left tibia tubercle plus anchors and tension band wire fixation. Postoperative recovery was good. For Felix IV type A fracture, there are few reports of surgical experience for reference. In this paper, we reported the reconstruction of knee extender device by using anchors for fixation and Krackow suture for braided patellar ligament, which achieved good therapeutic effect.
