Abstract:Abstract Objective: To evaluate the 3D printing technology, 3D printing augment and titanium trabecular acetabular cup in hip revision. Methods: From July 2015 to July 2019, 30 cases patients with acetabular bone defect underwent hip revision were treated with 3D printing augment and trabecular acetabular cup. The evaluation indexes included preoperative and postoperative Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Harris hip score and postoperative X-ray film. Results: 30 patients were followed up for 1.5-4 years with a median of 2.5 years. The operation time was (125 ±18)min,The intraoperative blood loss was (678 ±32)ml, At the last follow-up, Visual Analogue Scale (t = 2.048, p< 0.05) and Harris hip score (t = 3.496, p < 0.05) were significantly improved. During the following-up period, there was no component loosening or periprosthetic infection. One patient developed anterior dislocation of the hip when he underwent operation 3 weeks later. After reduction under anesthesia, the hip brace was used in neutral position for 4 weeks, and no dislocation happended again. Conclusion: The application of 3D printing technology, 3D printing augment and titanium trabecular acetabular cup in hip revision has good short-term effect, less complications. And it is safe and effective. Key words: 3D printing;augment; trabecular acetabular cup;hip revision
