Abstract:Disruption of the extensor mechanism after total knee arthroplasty is a rare but devastating complication. Transfemoral amputation is considered to be the last treatment for failed knee arthroplasty, which seriously affects the quality of patient''s life.There have been a variety of treatment methods, but there is no systematic evaluation. Therefore, this article summarizes the related original articles on the treatment of extensor Extensor Mechanism Disruption after total knee arthroplasty, and systematically reviews the research of extensor mechanism disruption after total knee arthroplasty, specific treatment plan and complications in this paper to provide a reference for the treatment of patients with knee extensor disruption.
