Abstract:Objective This study is to understand the factors related to military training injuries in a certain force of Marine Corps, and propose targeted intervention measures to reduce the incidence of military training. Methods Adopt equal-proportion sampling method, randomly select 6 companies, questionnaires were used to collect data, including different companies, BMI, service, self-assessment of health status, the number of drunkenness before enlisting, insomnia, noise effects to understand the features of military training injuries in the past year. To investigate the characteristics and related factors of training injuries. Results A total of 576 valid questionnaires were collected in this study. Among them, 249 were reported to have military training injuries, and the incidence was 43.23%. The main types of military training injuries were joint sprain, muscle damage and scratch. The main subjects that cause training injuries are 400m obstacle training, running training and equipment training, etc. Self-identified causes of training injuries are non-standard movements, poor physical fitness and poor psychological quality. Univariate analysis showed that good physical constitution, adequate protection knowledge, standard action are the protective factors of training injury. Smoking and the number of drunkenness before enlisting are the risk factors. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that different companies, drunkenness before enlisting, insufficient protection knowledge and insomnia are independent factors for training injuries(P<0.05). Conclusion It is helpful to reduce the incidence of training injuries and improve the quality of training by formulating training standards, focusing on the key injury training and groups that cause injuries, establishing a scientific sleep system and standardizing the management of injuries.
