Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of InterTAN combined with PFNA in the treatment of osteoporotic intertrochanteric fracture. Methods: Elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture, including 53 patients in the PFNA group and 49 patients in the InterTAN group, were diagnosed and treated by orthopedics department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University. The observation indexes included perioperative indexes, follow-up indexes and imaging indexes. Results: The operation time, incision, intraoperative and postoperative bleeding and complication rate in the InterTAN group were significantly lower than those in the PFNA group (P<0.05); the excellent rate of fracture reduction quality evaluation and Harris score in the InterTAN group were significantly better than those in the PFNA group (P<0.05); the degree and incidence of femoral neck shortening and hip varus in the InterTAN group were significantly higher than those in the PFNA group (P<0.05).It was significantly lower than that in the PFNA group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: InterTAN combined with anti-osteoporosis can effectively treat elderly intertrochanteric fracture, effectively accelerate the rehabilitation of joint function, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, improve patients'quality of life and comprehensive clinical efficacy, and is conducive to the improvement of long-term prognosis.
