Abstract:Abstract: [Objective] To analyze the safety and effectiveness of absorbable nail combined with absorbable thread in patients with ulnar Eagle fracture. [Methods] 106 patients with ulnar Eagle fracture treated in our hospital from February 2015 to March 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients in the study group were treated with absorbable nail combined with absorbable suture (56 cases), while the patients in the control group were treated with Kirschner wire tension band (50 cases).Observation indicators included perioperative conditions, follow-up indicators and imaging evaluation.[Results] The operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume and hospital stay of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05); the complication rate of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05).The joint pain and function scores of the study group were significantly better than those of the control group; the fracture healing time of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the Murphy standard range of motion score and imaging score of the study group were significantly better than those of the control group at the last follow-up (P < 0.05).[Conclusion] The use of absorbable nail combined with absorbable suture for surgical reduction and internal fixation of ulnar Eagle fracture has the advantages of simple, safe and efficient application, which can effectively improve the perioperative, follow-up and imaging related indicators, and avoid the impact of surgical complications on rehabilitation as much as possible.
