Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease characterized by bone and joint pain，general fatigue，high fever（wave fever）and sweating caused by brucella.Brucella often invades the osteoarticular system，especially the spine，the most frequently involved part is the lumbar spine，causing brucellar spondylitis.Because the clinical symptoms，signs and imaging findings of patients are similar to other spinal diseases，it is easy to be misdiagnosed and even lead to adverse consequences.This article reviews the research progress in epidemiology，typical clinical symptoms and signs，auxiliary examination，differential diagnosis and treatment of brucellar spondylitis.
