Abstract:Percutaneous cement discoplasty (PCD) is a new minimally invasive surgical procedure for the case of lower back pain and radicular pain caused by severely degenerated discs in elder patients. The rationale of this method is to provide segmental stabilizing and an indirect decompression. Since first reported by P.P.Varga in 2015, several work have summarized the indications, surgical methods, clinical effects and complications of this new technical .The literatures above will be reviewed in this article.
