Abstract:Disc calcification is common in clinic，mostly in the elderly.Among them, calcification after disc herniation is the most common type, which easily leads to nerve injury, and the compression can be removed by surgery. A patient with paralysis caused by silty calcification herniation of thoracic intervertebral disc is described, to discuss the clinical significance and diagnosis of this kind of disc calcification, and provide reference for clinicians to avoid delayed treatment.
