Abstract:Objective: To introduce the surgical technique and preliminary clinical results of total resection of popliteal cyst under the double posteromedial portals. Methods: A total of 12 patients who underwent arthroscopic total resection of popliteal cyst with double posteromedial portals in our hospital from November 2017 to November 2019 were selected. Statistics of surgical incision length, intraoperative blood loss, first landing time after surgery, postoperative hospitalization days, preoperative and six months postoperative knee function Lysholm score, Rauschning-Lindgren popliteal cyst grading and recurrence at the last follow-up, and the effect of surgery Perform analysis. Results: All operations went smoothly without related complications. The Lysholm score (90.25±4.86) of the knee joint six months after the operation was significantly higher than that before the operation (69.75±8.37), P<0.001. Six months after the operation, Rauschning-Lindgren graded 9 cases of grade 0, 2 cases of grade I, and 1 case of grade II. There was no recurrence at the last follow-up. Conclusion: Arthroscopic total resection of popliteal cyst with double posteromedial portals has less trauma and quick recovery, and can improve symptoms in a short time.
