Abstract:Bursitis with rice bodies is rare in clinical practice, and the main cause of its formation is still unclear. Most of the literatures think that its occurrence is obviously related to systemic diseases such as rheumatoid and tuberculosis. There are a few studies on the physiology and pathology of rice granules. In this case, a 67-year-old man with subacromial rice bodies bursitis was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis and positive for rheumatoid factor. In this paper, the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and research progress of the disease are introduced.
