Abstract:Giant cell tumor is a common benign and locally invasive tumor, which usually occurs in the metaphysis of long bone, but rarely occurs in the pelvis. However, malignant giant cell tumor of bone is rarely reports in related literature. The treatment of malignant giant cell tumor of the pelvis has always been a difficult point in clinical treatment.Complete resection of the tumor and effective pelvic reconstruction is one of the key issues in the treatment of malignant giant cell tumor of the pelvis. Through reviewing a case of recurrent giant cell tumor of the ischium bone, and consulting literature at home and abroad, The author summarizes the character of the malignant giant cell tumor of pelvis.
