Abstract:[objective] To compare the effect and advantage of traditional external fixator and INFIX technique in the treatment of Anterior Pelvic Ring Fracture. [Methods] From May 2017 to November 2019. Forty-two patients with anterior pelvic ring fractures (Tile B1 8 patients, Tile B2 17 patients, Tile B3 11 patients, Tile C1 4 patients, Tile C2 2 patients) were treated surgically in the Department of Trauma Orthopedics in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University. Of all 42 patients, there were 20 males and 22 females; The mean age was 43.6 years (ranged:25 to 61 years) ; 21 patients were treated with External Pelvic Fixation (external fixater group) and 21 patients were treated with INFIX technique (INFIX group) . The operative time, operative blood loss and postoperative complications were recorded and compared between the two groups. All patients were followed up for half a year, and the union of fracture and the union time were observed by x-ray. Fracture reduction was evaluated by Matta score system, functional outcome was evaluated by Majeed score system, postoperative pain was evaluated by VAS score system, Postoperative complications were recorded and compared. [Results] The operative time and operative blood loss of INIFX group were longer than that of Control Group, The incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that of the external fixater group, and the Matta Score, Majeed Score, VAS score and fracture healing time of INIFX group were better than that of external fixater group. [Conclusion] INFIX technique is better than external fixation in the early rehabilitation of Anterior Pelvic Ring Fracture. Pelvic Ring Fracture.
