Abstract:[Objective] To investigate the clinical effect of single incision and percutaneous spine endoscopy in the treatment of young adults with double segment lumbar disc herniation.[Methods] From March 2014 to December 2018, 34 cases of young adults double segment lumbar disc herniation diagnosed and treated by our department were analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into endoscopic group and fenestration group. In the Endoscopy Group, 18 cases were treated with single incision and percutaneous spine endoscopy; In the fenestration group, 16 cases were treated with posterior laminectomy. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, incision length, incision healing time, complications, VAS score, and final follow-up Macnab criteria were recorded and analyzed.[Results] The endoscopic group were followed up for 12 months to 21 months (mean, 16.27 ± 5.74 months); The fenestration group were followed up for 12 months to 23 months(mean, 17.23 ± 6.11 months) months. The intraoperative blood loss, incision length and incision healing time of endoscopic group were better than fenestration group. In the operation time, the fenestration group was better than the endoscopy group. The VAS score of the two groups was significantly better than that of the preoperative group, the VAS score and acnab criteria of the endoscopic group were better than the fenestration group. There was no significant difference in complications.[Conclusion]Single incision percutaneous endoscopic treatment of young adults double segment lumbar disc herniation, the curative effect is ideal, the trauma is small, the postoperative recovery is fast. However, the operation time is relatively long and there are some complications. [key words] Intervertebral Disc; Diskectomy, Percutaneous ;Surgical Procedures, Minimally Invasive
