Abstract:congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis is a rare genetic disordere. Orthopedic manifestations are fracture, joint deformity and dislocation, osteomyelitis, acromegaly osteolysis, growth retardation, bone nonunion, etc. We report a patient with congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis who received conservative treatment for one and a half years and effectively blocked the progression of hip dislocation and successfully healed the femoral fracture. Conservative treatment such as early brace fixation , physiotherapy and modifing the patient''s activity pattern can effectively delay or even prevent the progress of the disease.
