Abstract:[Abstract] [Objective] to evaluate the clinical effect of the modified Ishiguro method in the treatment of bony mallet fingers. [Methods] We reviewed 18 cases of bony mallet fingers in our department from March 2017 to March 2019, and evaluated the functional recovery after operation. [results] all 18 patients were followed up for 4-11 months, with an average of 7.5 months. According to Crawford hammer finger evaluation system, 9 cases were excellent, 6 cases were good, 3 cases were fair, the excellent and good rate was 83.3%. [Conclusion] the modified Ishiguro method is simple, reliable, less complication and good clinical effect in the treatment of bony mallet finger deformity.
