Abstract:Objective:To observe titanium mesh implant with bone cement filled in treatment of senile osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures ,clinical curative effect and summarize the clinical effect and technical advantages of titanium mesh implantation in the treatment of senile OVCFs. Methods: Conclusion titanium mesh plant bone cement technology support system for the treatment of senile OVCFs clinical effect, technical advantages were retrospectively analyzed from May ,2016ye to May 2018 division using percutaneous supported titanium mesh implant bone cement filling treatment of 30 cases of OVCFs, preoperation bone density are determined (DXA) confirmed that for patients with osteoporosis, X-ray and MRI confirmed for fresh compression fractures.Visual analogue scale (VAS), Oswestry dysfunction index (ODI), preoperative and postoperative X ray analysis of Beck index and Cobb Angle changed on all, followed-up pre-operation ,postoperation1 day after, 1 month after and 1 year. Results: The visual analogue scale (VAS) decreased from 7.9 preoperation to 1.5 one year postoperation, showing a statistically significant difference. The Oswestry dysfunction index (ODI) increased from 79.0% before surgery to 29.5% one year after surgery, showing a statistically significant difference.Radiological evaluation, Beck index by 10.1 °preoperation to 8.4 ° 1 year after the postoperation. the difference was statistically significant time points. The patients in the different period compared with preoperative period statistically significant ,the different period of postoperation ompared among different groups there was no statistically significant difference The average Cobb Angle from 8.0 °to 9.1 ° compared the preoperative period with postoperative period, the difference was statistically significant, 1 year after surgery and other time points after surgery (January 1 day after the surgery, surgery) to compare the difference was statistically significant. All patients underwent surgery smoothly, and no adverse events were caused by bone cement leakage. Conclusions: Titanium mesh implantation is an effective method for the treatment of senile OVCFs, and can maintain the height and stability of the vertebral body after strengthening.
