Abstract:Objective: To investigate the surgical treatment and curative effect of hemophilia pseudotumor. Methods: The clinical data of patients with hemophilia pseudotumor from June 2015 to October 2017 in our department of Orthopaedics were retrospectively analyzed. All 11 patients were male, aged 19-59 years, with an average of 41.7 years. 9 cases located in the thigh, one in calf, one in shoulder. The treatment methods are all pseudotumor resection. RESULTS: All patients were followed up for an average of 24.2 months, 14-42 months. There were no local pseudotumor recurrences in all cases. One case was poorly healed. Conclusion: Surgical resection is an effective way to treat hemophilia pseudotumor. Surgical resection is an effective way to treat hemophilia pseudotumor. Good perioperative management and adequate coagulation factor replacement therapy are important foundations for good prognosis.
