Results The wounds in this group were all healed in the first stage ,followed up for 5-12months, with an average of 8.7 months. Except one case of mallet finger deformity after secondary trauma, the avulsion fractures at the base of the terminal phalanx of the other cases were all in good alignment, with bone healing, no finger deformity, postoperative infection and other complications, and the excellent and good recovery rate of hand function was up to 91.2%. Conclusion In the treatment of fresh Mallet fracture, kirschner wire combined with local ligation of steel wire has good effect, simple operation and low cost, so it can be widely used in clinic.
