Abstract:Giant cell tumor of bone (GCTB) is a kind of borderline bone tumor with local invasive osteolytic tumors, which occurs in young people and has a low incidence. At present, the treatment of giant cell tumor of the distal radius includes medullary cavity filling (autologous iliac bone graft, allogeneic bone graft, bone cement) and artificial wrist joint replacement. At present, the curative effect of these two procedures is very controversial. The choice is very difficult. The authors found that the infection of wrist joint artificial replacement was rarely reported in China. One patient with giant cell tumor of the distal radius who was admitted to our hospital in December 2018 was infected with artificial joints, and the wound did not heal for a long time.
