This paper aim to discuss the treatment of gout nodules which involve metacarpophalangeal joints and give rise to the destruction of large segment of the joints. The author adopts to implant large segmental iliac bone in bone and joint defects to keep finger length, to avoid the appearance defect and the afunction caused by significant shortening of fingers, to enhance patients' confidence in life, and to restore most finger functions.
