Abstract:Abstract: [Objective]To analyze the effect of minimally invasive surgical treatment of acute closed rupture of achilles tendon. [Methods] Sixty patients with acute closed rupture of achilles tendon were selected from our hospital in recent three years (May 2015 to April 2018). According to the operative methods, the patients in the observation group (minimally invasive tendon suture, n=30) and the control group (open operation, n=30) were divided into two groups. The effect of surgical treatment was compared between the two groups. Results the operating time, hospital stay and recovery time in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0. 05), the VAS pain score and AOFAS score (established by the American Society of ankle surgery) were better in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0. 05). There was significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the observation group and the control group (3.33%VS23.33%, P < 0.05). Conclusion minimally invasive tendon skin suture is effective and plays an important role in the treatment of patients with acute closed rupture of Achilles tendon. It can reduce pain, reduce complications and promote the recovery of patients.
