Abstract:[ Objective] Vancouver type-B3 periprosthetic femoral fractures (PFFs) is one of the most severe type of adverse events occurred after total hip arthroplasty (THA).This study was conducted to evaluate the outcomes of reconstructing of the bone stock in Vancouver B3 PFFs and analyze the mid-term outcomes.[Methods] We retrospectively assessed the clinical and radiographic results of twenty-eitht Vancouver type-B3 periprosthetic fractures in twenty- eitht patients. Clinical results were graded with use of the Harris hip score, pain evaluation, patients walking ability and patient satisfaction score and Videography Efficacy.[Results] Follow up results were obtained in 24 patients and the median follow-up time was 58 months.The mean hip Harris scores was 77 and mean satisfaction score was 87. [Conclusions] The use of cortical strut allograft and impacted cancellous allograft to reconstruct the bone stock could offer reliable options and can provide sati, All patients achieved fracture healing and achieved good results in imaging evaluation.sfactory results.
